I was just wondering if you’d ever tried and of the Fordham line:

Or Boulevard- the local brewing company here in Kansas City:

I’ve never been much of a beer drinker, but I have been trying to expand my horizons a little bit. Especially after discovering the joy of the “build your own 6 pack” liquor store, ensuring you don’t get stuck with 5 1/2 bottles of a beer you don’t like. I like Corona, which I think isn’t too coincidental, as its one of the first beers I ever tried that wasn’t part of the major US brewing companies. I know its pretty big by itself, but even my uncultured tongue is aware of what the gist of this article states:

Fordham was one of my favorites, but after I moved away from MD back to KS I worry that if I ever get a chance to have another, my palate will have shifted and I won’t enjoy it as much. Has this ever happened to you?
And to conclude- I think the appeal of finding your personal favorite beer is much the same as music- maybe you can enjoy the most popular bands that get the radio airplay, but you never know what gems you might find if you wander off the beaten path. I did it with music, and I’m trying to do it with beer.
PS- I am also a BGH listener, and occasional caller.
